Who We Are/About us
Tumaini Community Services Organization (TCSO) is non-government organization working to provide Services to people in need, to advocate for justice and social structure by influencing change in policies, programs, and practices. Our work aims to impact value based holistic community development model, inspired by a vision of promote social justice for young mother, widows and marginalized children. Tumaini community services organization (TCSO) was found through Anglican Church of Tanzania – Diocese of Southern Highlands (ACT-DSH) as part of compliance due to the reviewed NGO policy and NGO Act No. 24 of 2002. It was registered on 15th August, 2019 with registration number 00NGO/R/0478. Since its registration; all community services and projects rendered by ACT-DSHs’ development department rendered over years were transitioned to TCSO. TCSO has its headquarters at Anglican Church Cathedral, Lupa way 5 street/Uzunguni area in Mbeya City, Mbeya region located near Regional Commissioner’s Office and adjacent to Stanbic bank.
TCSO works to address health, environment, livelihood, agriculture, livestock, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene issues and promoting access to justice in Tanzania with a focus on marginalized and priority population including but not limited to women, adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) and children.
